New Member Procedures

When a Little Wheel has a solid suggestion on a prospective member that fits the criteria for being a Little Wheel (relations in the electrical industry by blood or marriage), it is understood that the sponsoring Little Wheel has the right to bring his or her prospective member to a Little Wheel meeting at no additional charge. If both the Little Wheel and prospective member feel that the Little Wheels Club is a good fit, the following steps should be taken.​

Prospective members shall be contacted through the 1st Spoke. All membership applications should be directed to his or her attention. When an application is received the First Spoke will contact all current board members for their approval. Once approved, the First Spoke will direct the initiation fee to the Third Spoke. The Third Spoke will notify the Greaser. The Greaser will have the new members name added to the mailing list.

The First Spoke will write a letter to the new member telling him or her "your membership to the Little Wheels Club has been accepted and approved." The First Spoke will also request the yearly dues in the letter.   Depending on the time of year, the First Spoke has the authority to reduce or waive the yearly dues.
